The following are frequently asked questions asked of the GIN support team. We will add additional questions and answers to this page as needed. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact us for assistance.

Questions Regarding Billing
Question:
 
Can I make monthly payments toward my initial signup fee?
Answer: Yes, we currently have 3 payment options.
 
  1. Pay your initiation fee upfront.  With this option, you get a free ticket for the 3-night 2013 GIN Leadership Cruise. You pay the one-time initiation fee of$1,000 immediately (a $500 discount off the regular $1,500 fee.)  Beginning the second month, you will be charged $150 per month for your Membership dues. You can cancel at anytime but you must be a Member in good standing to receive the free cruise.
  2. Spread your initiation dues over time. With this option, you get a free ticket for the 3-night 2013 GIN Leadership Cruise. You pay $250 ($100 initiation fees, $150 monthly dues) per month for a total of 15months. After 15 payments of $250, you will only be charged $150 per month for your Membership dues. You can cancel at anytime but you must be a Member in good standing to receive the free cruise.
  3. November 2011 Promotion:  Defer your $1,500 initiation fee for 12 months.  With this option, you pay only $150 each month for monthly dues. Your $1500 initiation fee will be automatically charged on the 12th month.  With this option, you get a free ticket for the 3-night 2013 GIN Leadership Cruise.  If space is available, you can choose to cruise on the 2012 GIN Leadership Cruise instead. If you choose the 2012four-night cruise, you must pay for the fourth night. You can cancel at anytime but you must be a Member in good standing to receive the free cruise.
Question:
 
I don't have a Visa or MasterCard. Is there any other way to pay?
Answer: Usually one can get a prepaid Mastercard or Visa to cover initial dues and monthly fee. Prepaid cards can usually be found at grocery stores, pharmacies, or large department stores. Alternatively, you may send the initial fee and first six monthly payments by money order. Please email us for more information if you decide to send the money order.

My credit card information is not accepted when I attempt to sign up.
Answer: Be sure everything is entered correctly. Your credit card number should not have any spaces or dashes, please try to sign up again.
Questions Regarding Upgrade Requirements

Can I join as an affiliate and become a member at a later date?
Answer: Yes, you can upgrade your account to Member status at any time.

How many Members does GIN have?
Answer: We apologize, but that information is confidential.

I am having problems accepting the Membership agreement.
Answer: Prior to accessing the Members only section, please ensure that you have selected the option stating “Yes, I accept the Global Information Network Membership Agreement and Terms of Use”. Note in some cases, this may happen more than once during your visit to GlobalInformationNetwork.com.

Answer: Please contact customerservice@neo-tech.com, their customer service representatives will be happy to help you. Neo-Tech and GIN are separate organizations.

When did GIN get started?
Answer: We began accepting Members and Affiliates during our pre-launch in May of 2009 and we officially launched in Cancun, Mexico on November 1, 2009.

Where is GIN located?
Answer: The GIN organization is global, but our headquarters are currently located in Chicago, Illinois.
